Top-ranked Vikings win

The Valencia Viking girls tennis team, ranked No. 1 in CIF Division III for the first time in team history, downed Buckley at home on Wednesday, 13-5. Thalia Wilczynski, Valencia's No. 2 singles player, swept today 6-0, 6-2, 6-0 against Madeline Fuhrman, Ruth Madeievsky, and Liz Gershman.

Vikes dominant in debut

The Valencia girls basketball team started its regular season Tuesday, and it didn't really allow the Nordhoff Rangers to start theirs. The Vikings excelled at both ends of the floor in a dominant 86-22 victory over Nordhoff at the High Five Classic at the Valencia High School gymnasium.
