Brock Vereen, the younger brother of former Valencia High running back Shane, was at the forefront of the Vikings' 35-24 win over Palmdale High on Friday night at Paul Priesz Stadium. Former Hart pitcher Michael Montgomery ranks as the fourth best prospect in the Kansas City Royals' organization, according to Baseball America's Top 10 prospects list.
