Wildcats look to stop skid
A three-game losing streak can be prevented by West Ranch tonight, in a game against Glendora at Valencia High School. The Wildcats will be playing a team that went 5-0 in the Sierra League (9-3 overall) last season and advanced to the CIF-SS Division I quarterfinals.

The Valencia Viking girls tennis team, ranked No. 1 in CIF Division III for the first time in team history, downed Buckley at home on Wednesday, 13-5. Thalia Wilczynski, Valencia's No. 2 singles player, swept today 6-0, 6-2, 6-0 against Madeline Fuhrman, Ruth Madeievsky, and Liz Gershman.
Saugus sweeps again
Saugus was looking for one more challenge, one more fight to the finish from a nonleague opponent. It did not truly happen Wednesday, as the Centurions punished Chaminade of West Hills in three straight sets at Saugus High School.
Vikes dominant in debut
