Wife outraged, son sick, calls keep coming, buttons everywhere

The snow-capped mountains in the distance, the deep, clear blue sky, the soft breeze that ruffles the emerging green shoots of spring - can the past week in the Santa Clarita Valley have been more perfect? I will try to hold on to this memory when the temperatures reach 115 in August.
I ordered lunch at my newly not-so-favorite fast-food restaurant last weekend, and the cashier, whom I've known for five years, asked me if I wanted the senior discount.

It was a dark and stormy night, and I was trying desperately to convince my bladder it wasn't full. The wind sliced through my bedroom window crack as I lay embedded in my mattress, surrounded on three sides by the best blankets in the house. My husband lay on the other side of my blanket berm in a steady drool.
TV broke, conversation a must
When I think of unique gifts for myself, they usually run into the realm of quantum physics and time travel.
