Fun time's over folks. It's back to school and back to work - including the nonprofit kind!
My 6-year-old son and I are in the car out in front of the house. I open a bag of chocolate chip cookies - one of our favorite treats, second only to M&Ms. I let the sweet aroma fill the car.
The countdown to the start of school is on. It seems impossible that school will actually begin for most Santa Clarita Valley students Wednesday and Thursday of this week! Do most parents actually like this early start to school?
