Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station's Community Interaction Team (CIT), arrested Jonathan William Maier, MW/19, of Canyon Country, on several felony charges today. Planning Grant to Partners in Care Foundation will identify ways to expand access to vital services
LONG BEACH -- The SCAN Foundation today announced it has awarded a $200,000 12-month planning grant to San Fernando Valley based Partners in Care Foundation (Partners) with the goal of expanding access to community-based long-term care services for seniors and caregivers in the Santa Clarita Valley and South Los Angeles.
Two local gymnasts Kaitlin Schultz, 9, and Zoe Zafman, 12, were selected in December 2008 out of approximately 500 athletes nationwide to participate in JumpStart National Testing in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Jan. 24-25. On Monday, Jan. 26 both athletes were named to the Jump Start National Trampoline team.
