Fake Santa, Real Santa, Noise and Thanks

Boy doesn't fall for my Santa Claus At 5:15 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 24, I dressed up as Santa Claus to surprise my 5-year-old son during Christmas Eve festivities with extended family. "The suit looks amazingly real," my wife said before I made my appearance. According to other guests, I made a wonderful jolly old St. Nick. My son agreed when he saw me. Let’s turn fouled land into a crown jewel

What incredible foresight the Santa Clarita City Council had a decade ago. That's when a shady group of land speculators wanted to transform a 1,000-acre patch of dirt in the middle of our city into a Mediterranean village of 2,911 homes complete with flyover bridges and escalators to lift happy residents up the mountainside, with a new municipal palace right next door so our city leaders could look down on the rest of us from ...

Priorities mean better time management

Keeping a handle on our lives and time are key to being able to succeed. Many of us make "to-do" lists, but few of us take the time to weigh the things on that list for their relative importance, both professionally and personally.
