It was the first of its kind in the Santa Clarita Valley. Robinson Ranch Golf Club hosted the Pac-12 cross country championships on Saturday. Until then, the finals had never been held in the SCV. The same venue hosted the Pac-12 Preview meet on Sept. 21. Saturday's race was for real though, and the Colorado men and Oregon women were crowned team conference champions when all was said and done. Arizona's Lawi Lalang won his ...

College volleyball: Cougars use all their weapons

This was the match College of the Canyons women's volleyball needed to have. Kelsea Hundtoft had 16 kills to lead COC to set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 20-25 and 25-18. "Kelsea was very smart tonight, not just swinging away but putting it where we wanted ...

College football: Record-setting day at the Coliseum

LOS ANGELES - Matt Barkley and Robert Woods, welcome to the USC record books. To USC's offense, welcome back. A week after being questioned for an uncharacteristic low offensive output in a win over Washington, the Trojans answered emphatically, displaying the type of high-flying, big-play ability that they're expected to play. Barkley and Woods both set records, Barkley's for most career touchdown passes in school and conference history, and Woods' for most receptions in USC ...
