Patricia Skinner Sulpizio's column in today's paper was quite revealing ("Boxer scores a knockout," Sept. 7). It was nothing but a hit piece on Carly Fiorina and told us nothing about Barbara Boxer's accomplishments as senator over her 28-year Senate career, or what she is going to do to help get California out of its fiscal and jobless mess.
Proposition 8 deserved to be negated for any number of reasons, least not being that anything "religious" should never influence any legal standing on a state or federal level.
