Doug Sink: The Decoro Drive change should be reversed

My neighbors, coworkers and I are impacted by the Decoro re-striping and elimination of two traffic lanes to install unnecessary bike lanes, and frustrated residents who have seen the city of Santa Clarita's engineers fix something that was not broken without even consulting with or advising us.

Station Fire still threatens Mount Wilson

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A giant amphibious air tanker has made a huge water drop on flames on Mount Wilson northeast of Los Angeles.

The flying boat bombarded the peak Tuesday to extinguish flames from a sprawling wildfire that could endanger the historic Mount Wilson Observatory and adjacent TV, radio and cell phone towers serving the region.

Zonta presents financial skills workshop series for women
