Strickland says legislation could have saved $7 million per year

SACRAMENTO - Today, Senate Bill 685, authored by State Senator Tony Strickland (R-Thousand Oaks) which could have saved California $7,177,442 per year by suspending salaries of specific State Boards and Commissioners who make more than $100,000 for one or two meetings per month, failed in the Senate Government Organization Committee 5 to 5.

Hart district outlines swine flu precautions
