Detectives crack health club theft ring

Detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station's Burglary and Theft team have put an end to a burglary theft ring that has been operating at various health clubs and fitness centers in Santa Clarita, the San Fernando Valley, Burbank and North Hollywood for several months.

COC Theater Dept. hosts spring auditions

The College of the Canyons Theater Department will hold open auditions for students and community members interested in participating in the department's theatrical productions of "Delightful Disorientation: An Evening Of David Ives" directed by department chair and producer Paul Wickline; William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" directed by Stephen Whelan; and featured selections from the college's annual New Works Festival directed by David Stears. More than 50 roles are available for actors ages 15 to 60.
