New traffic rules for Saugus, Valencia and Val Verde

Improvements slated for Santa Clarita storm channel

McKeon press conference on anniversary of stimulus bill

One year ago tomorrow, Democrats passed a $862 billion stimulus bill that they claimed would immediately spur job creation and economic recovery. Since that time, the nation's economic health has deteriorated and roughly 3.5 million jobs* have been lost. California's unemployment rate is sitting at a painful 12.5%.

Businesses in individual communities across America are suffering. For instance, A-V Equipment Rentals, Inc. in Newhall has suffered greatly despite the "so-called" stimulus.

AP source: McGrady to Knicks in reported three-way trade

HOUSTON (AP) - The New York Knicks have acquired disgruntled guard Tracy McGrady and his massive expiring contract in a three-team swap with the Houston Rockets and the Sacramento Kings, a person with knowledge of the negotiations tells The Associated Press.

The person spoke Thursday and requested anonymity because the deal has not been officially announced.
