Placerita open space dedication

City officials will dedicate 140 acres of open space in Placerita Canyon at 4 p.m. today. The so-called East Walker Ranch property, formerly home to Special Devices, Inc., was purchased last summer with funds from Santa Clarita's Open Space Preservation District.
