‘Fear, flummery and fairy tales’

In his response to the Aug. 1 RedBlue America question about the proposed Islamic community center ("Should a mosque be built near ground zero?"), Ben Boychuck appears to base his argument on something that only exists in minds of Republican ideologues. He claims that this center will bring about Shariah (religious) law in the U.S. The fact that no one has proposed this, or that no American court would allow this, doesn't faze him a bit.
