There is an underdog in the William S. Hart Union High School District board race. You don't see nearly as much press for Linda Valdes as you do for the other candidates, but I truly hope they don't underestimate the impact Linda has had on Santa Clarita.
What has become of the small town in which I grew up? Over the years I've watched folks move in and for some reason they want to elevate themselves to a status above all the rest. I often think I wish they would move back to wherever they came from.
