Strickland says legislation could have saved $7 million per year

SACRAMENTO - Today, Senate Bill 685, authored by State Senator Tony Strickland (R-Thousand Oaks) which could have saved California $7,177,442 per year by suspending salaries of specific State Boards and Commissioners who make more than $100,000 for one or two meetings per month, failed in the Senate Government Organization Committee 5 to 5.

Hart district outlines swine flu precautions

Although no confirmed clusters of swine flu have been identified in the Santa Clarita Valley or even the Los Angeles region as of today, the Wm. S.
