SCV deputies nab assault suspects
Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station responded to reports of a baseball bat assault and stabbing Saturday night in the 15400 block of Sierra Highway, unincorporated Los Angeles County - Canyon Country.

COC students excel on land surveying exam
In April, seven College of the Canyons students sat down to take the Land Surveyor In Training (LSIT) exam, a very rigorous test administered by the state and is part of the process to becoming a state licensed surveyor.

14th annual Downed Officer Support Ride
The 14th annual Downed Officer Support Ride was held Sunday, starting at Westfield Valencia Town Center. Organizers estimated that 1,500 motorcycles took part in the 100-mile ride to benefit the Downed Officer Foundation.
