Tammy Messina: Voter preparation is vital

It was disheartening to watch old clips of "Candid Camera" and clips from newer consumer shows. Clearly, much of the American public is not skilled in making educated product selections. Seeing how gullible we are as consumers, my mind immediately went to the upcoming elections.
