About 350 junior high school students will be participating in the city's 2009 youth summit today.
McKeon endorses Solomon
Congressman Howard P. "Buck" McKeon endorses Suzan Solomon, candidate for the William S. Hart Union High School District board, because of her effective educational leadership in the community and her strong ethics and values as demonstrated by her school board campaign. Solomon also has the endorsements of Senator Tony Strickland, Assemblyman Cameron Smyth, Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell.

Wildcat Classic
The Wildcat Classic, hosted by West Ranch High School at Valencia High School on Oct. 10 saw 13 schools perform. More than 1,000 students participated in what was the first show of the marching band season. Santa Clarita Valley high schools all won awards. Hart High School won the sweepstakes award.
‘Snow Angel’ comes to Arroyo Seco
