After quick starts from both postseason-bound local hockey teams, the weekend brought an end to both the College of the Canyons' and the Valencia Flyers' playoff runs. Newhall Community Center to host sanctioned amateur boxing show

The Santa Clarita Community Center Boxing program will exhibit a sanctioned USA Boxing Amateur Boxing Show on March 14, 2009. Amateur boxers from around the state, including from the Newhall Community Center, will compete for championship belts in their respective weight divisions.

BioSolar to commercialize BioBacksheet for thin-film photovoltaic modules

Free admission to AT&T golf tourney's practice and Pro-Am rounds
