The Newhall Community Center Teen Room will be named and dedicated in honor of the late Ed Redd at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Redd, who died in March, served as Parks, Recreation and Community Services commissioner since August 2002. The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission and the Santa Clarita City Council unanimously voted earlier this year to name the Teen Room in Redd's honor.
