I assume I receive a different version of The Signal than Carole Lutness ("Public libraries should stay public," July 26). I re-read my version regarding the city of Santa Clarita's setting up a committee to look into taking over the local libraries, which are a cash cow for the county (using our tax dollars to support libraries in other areas in Los Angeles County where revenues are less).
