Keep funding CCAC

I just wanted to drop a quick note adding my voice to the growing chorus of citizens who are speaking out against the proposal by the city to end funding for the Canyon Country Advisory Committee. As an east-side resident, I have a personal stake in the continued existence of the CCAC, but my desire to see this group remain viable goes far beyond geographical concerns.

Tony Strickland: Controller Chiang defies governor

In the months leading up to an election, it becomes more difficult for candidates to bring forward any policy discussion without it being viewed in political terms - and rightly so. I welcome this scrutiny.

Joe Klocko: Criteria for business success

When you think of California do words like innovative, leading-edge and trendy come to mind? A place where new ideas first take root before they become woven into the very fabric of the national culture and industrial base before becoming recognized around the world as being uniquely "American". Gary Horton: The Buck now stops

Energizer Bunnies keep going and going and going – and for a time, it looked like Buck McKeon would be equally perpetual in motion to those furry little drumbeaters. With the constant barrage of information available in today's 24/7 world, it's important to not get caught up in the day-to-day market volatility and news headlines.
