New temporary park ’n ride location

Santa Clarita Transit riders can now park at The Greens as part of a temporary park 'n ride agreement made with property owners. There is no overnight parking and drivers will park at their own risk. Local student honored

Kiya L. Wilson, of Saugus, was named a 2010 President's Scholar this week with the incoming freshman class at California State University, Long Beach. She will receive a full, four-year scholarship from the university worth more than $50,000. The scholarship covers general student fees, an annual book allowance and paid housing in the campus residence halls for four years.

Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital's Home Tour League is inviting crafters to participate in their 2010 Holiday Boutique. The Holiday Boutique will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 4 at Our Lady Perpetual Help Church Assembly Hall in Newhall.
