Child fatality on Highway 14 Freeway

A three-year-old girl died Saturday afternoon after she was ejected in a two-car collision on the northbound side of Highway 14 Freeway, said California Highway Patrol officials.

Numerous elected leaders have endorsed Joe Messina for the governing board of the William S. Hart Union High School District, including state Sen. George Runner, Sen. Tony Strickland, Assemblyman Cameron Smyth, Assemblywoman Audra Strickland and Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich. "Joe Messina is a stand-up guy who will do the right things for our kids while protecting the taxpayers' pockets," said Sen. Strickland.

LA Deputy Sheriff endorsed Mike Berger for COC

The Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff's has endorsed Mike Berger for Seat No. 1, of the Santa Clarita Community College District Board of Trustees, which governs College of the Canyons. Steve Remige, president of the association, said the deputies were pleased to support Berger's candidacy for the COC board.
