Treating dementia with dignity

Blair is enjoying a conversation while his large border collie mix, Gypsy, makes her rounds among the residents at Sunrise Senior Living's Reminiscence Neighborhood in Valencia. Opened on April 1 to serve seniors with Alzheimer's disease or dementia, the 23-room facility, located within the Sunrise at Sterling Canyon campus, has attracted 16 residents to date and provides around-the-clock care.

DUI checkpoint nets one arrest
