County renews Helitanker lease for fire season

Authorities search for two burglary suspects

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station detectives are looking for two suspects who broke into a Canyon Country home Monday afternoon. A man kicked in the front door of a home on the 17500 block of Polar Point Lane after knocking on the front door for several minutes, according to a news release. Two suspects, a man and a woman who were both wearing black clothes, entered the home but fled in a grey pick-up truck after the resident yelled at them and called 911.
