U.S. Congressman Howard "Buck" McKeon, R-Santa Clarita, shakes hands with Alan Jackson, a candidate for Los Angeles district attorney. McKeon said he is endorsing Jackson for the seat. The duo met up at an event for Jackson held by Larry and Peggy Rasmussen. Jackson is the first declared candidate for the office, with the election scheduled for 2012.
