Stevenson Ranch Elementary School fourth-grader Cole Costello recently won first place in the Newhall School District Spelling Bee. A couple of weeks earlier, Cole competed against fourth-, fifth-, sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders in the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee, when he tied for fourth place. His next competition is today. Cole will be competing in the Los Angeles County Spelling Bee.
