Local Gymnasts Make JumpStart National Trampoline Team
Two local gymnasts Kaitlin Schultz, 9, and Zoe Zafman, 12, were selected in December 2008 out of approximately 500 athletes nationwide to participate in JumpStart National Testing in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Jan. 24-25. On Monday, Jan. 26 both athletes were named to the Jump Start National Trampoline team.
Hit the Trail community bike ride
Despite drizzling rain, Mayor Frank Ferry and members of the Santa Clarita City Council invited residents and community members to "Hit the Trail" Saturday morning. Hit the Trail was a community bike ride ending in a rally at Bridgeport Park. The bike ride followed the city's trail system and had three starting points around Santa Clarita.
