I have read the editorials on yes versus no on Proposition 8 because marriage can only be defined by the creator of marriage ­- God. I voted yes on 8 because God said that marriage is between a man and a woman.

As the economy subsequently crashed, and then crashed harder, the "Change We Can Believe In" surged and morphed into a desperate plea for "The Change We Need."
