Why I voted 'yes' on Proposition 8

I have read the editorials on yes versus no on Proposition 8 because marriage can only be defined by the creator of marriage ­- God. I voted yes on 8 because God said that marriage is between a man and a woman.

The change we need

For the past two years of the presidential campaign we've been overwhelmed and plastered with calls and slogans for "Change We Can Believe In." As the economy subsequently crashed, and then crashed harder, the "Change We Can Believe In" surged and morphed into a desperate plea for "The Change We Need."

Starbucks employees’ privacy breached

Someone stole a laptop Oct. 29 containing private information about 97,000 Starbucks employees, according to a company news release.
