While the concept drawing shown in The Signal is indeed a beautiful building, it is at best only an artist's rendering and does not show any of the detrimental effects that will be brought to the neighborhood on the Arcadia side of the project.
There is a problem with grocery carts. The problem is not just with retrieval of the shopping carts. This problem should be eliminated. The carts are taken and abandoned all over town. They are left on sidewalks and street corners and, sometimes, are not picked up for weeks. They blow into the streets creating a traffic hazard for oncoming traffic.
