‘Flickers' screens ‘A Hard Day's Night'

Fees jump, too

Sacramento does more than increase taxes. I just got my vehicle registration. The registration fee went up 33 percent and the smog fee went up 67 percent. I can handle it, but it's sure not going to help those on the edge who just lost their job or house.

Bring our jobs back

What is wrong with the idea of bringing our jobs back from overseas? Americans have suffered enough. Bring them back by setting tariffs on all imported products until it becomes less expensive to build them with American workers. Jobs would pop out of the woodwork overnight. Good old solid manufacturing jobs are the answer to an economic recovery, not stimuli and bailouts.
