City opens Pandora’s box

Well, the Santa Clarita City Council has opened Pandora's box. Now that the city has decided to go with a for-profit library system, which will not take over until next year, the county has logically decided - and rightly so - that it will not spend any more money finishing the re-remodeling of the Canyon Country library. It was supposed to reopen this fall.
