I just came back from France, and as usual, I have enjoyed reading The Signal this morning.
Acting with bold, decisive leadership, relatively amazing swiftness and unquestionable integrity, President Obama has been able to secure an agreement with BP that will make more than $20 billion available to those American citizens being directly victimized by the corporate negligence of BP in and around the Gulf of Mexico.
Thanks to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital and The Signal for the publication ("Sneaky symptoms of stroke," April 2) of the signs and symptoms of stroke. The front-page banner with the symptoms pictured may save one from a serious stroke.
