Mardi Gras is coming to the Santa Clarita Valley Aug. 22 as the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center Foundation hosts "A Hot August Night," the 18th annual benefit dinner and auction at the Mann Biomedical Park to raise funds for the Senior Center's Home Delivered Meals program.

14th annual Downed Officer Support Ride

The 14th annual Downed Officer Support Ride was held Sunday, starting at Westfield Valencia Town Center. Organizers estimated that 1,500 motorcycles took part in the 100-mile ride to benefit the Downed Officer Foundation.
