Snippets? Associations? Who is Barack Obama?

Have you noticed that whenever Obama's pastor, wife, terrorist friends, corrupt cronies or other assorted glimpses into his personal life are mentioned, Obama tries to change the subject by suggesting that these references are distractions or snippets and/or efforts to tarnish his otherwise impeccable character with gestures of "guilt by association"?

Don’t we Christians eat pork?

Why I, as a Christian, will vote "no" on Proposition 8: I am very aware of the stance the Bible takes on homosexuality, both in the New and the Old testaments. I know that in Deuteronomy same-sex couplings are termed "an abomination," and that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for deviant sexual practices such as homosexuality. Paul too upholds this disdain for homosexuals in Romans.

Who’s been stealing my election signs?

Our position on November measures

Measure R: MTA Sales Tax - Before we formed the city of Santa Clarita in 1987, our unincorporated valley was sending millions more each year to downtown Los Angeles than we were getting back in services. That's what Measure R does. It taxes you an extra half-cent whenever you go to the store, and spends a disproportionate share of the revenue on politicians' pet transportation projects in downtown Los Angeles. Proponents like to say, "everybody ...
