Our editorials during the last few weeks have provided information and The Signal's position on the various propositions, measures and candidate races on the Nov. 4 ballot. Below we summarize what we previously said.
My split ballot and the ‘generic’ Republican
I decided that my vote cast three weeks ago will gum up the optical reading machine at county clerk headquarters down in Norwalk.
No on 8 signs stolen, too
In response to people in Valencia who have written complaining about their "Yes on 8" signs being stolen, I wanted to make sure they understood that plenty of "No on 8" lawn signs have gone missing as well.

Election Day is real poll
Fraudulent voter registration may not lead to fraudulent votes, but it certainly skews polls, which use registration numbers as their basis. Therefore, today's polls showing a given candidate with a lead may show phony results because of phony voter registration.
Vote for change
It seems odd to me that in this country where we fought to have the right to free speech and freedom of religion, and to be one nation under God, that we can't find a way to the common good for all.
