What is with Paul Henry Sibek and his repeated references to "non-critical thinkers" in his frequent attacks on Republicans and conservatives ("Palin/Paul," June 10)? Surely, he must consider himself and his ilk to be "critical thinkers," and they certainly are.
On May 7, I sent you a letter ("Irresponsible headline," April 20) about your headline "Santa Clarita ranked one of richest cities" (April 12).
So the Republicans want to eliminate the Environmental Protection Agency. Great, now we can burn all that "clean coal" and drill, baby, drill. They also want to eliminate the Department of Education so we can all be as dumb as they are. Thank goodness for the elite Ivy Leaguers and critical thinkers with three-digit IQs to protect them from themselves.
