County to resurface Stevenson Ranch road

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a $1.5 million project to resurface the roadway pavement on Stevenson Ranch Parkway in Stevenson Ranch, county Mayor Michael D. Antonovich announced. Work is estimated to start in June 2011, and be completed in November 2011.

Hart cheer takes first place

Hart High School's varsity cheer and stunt group took home first place and were named 2011 Jamz National Champions during a Feb. 18 competition in Las Vegas. The cheerleaders were joined by their families and Hart High cheer adviser Lisa Parra, Hart High Assistant Principal Erum Jones and coaches Amanda Sabo and Leah Powers.
