Quilts for homeless

Yvonne Penny, a community service volunteer, stands near the result of a drive by the Santa Clarita Valley Quilt Guild members to make and donate quilts to the homeless served by the charity Under the Bridges. Penny provided her home as a workplace where the recent batch of 14 quilts and dozens of personal sized pillows were completed. "It is such a wonderful feeling to work on something like this knowing it will make someone's life better," Penny said.
