COC Art Gallery features local work

Wind topples trees, debris

Bill Hoffer of the National Weather Service said Santa Clarita recorded some of the highest wind gusts in all of Southern California on Monday night. Saugus recorded wind gusts of 71 mph at 9 p.m., he said. Byron Moline, the city of Santa Clarita's general services manager, said the city cleared several trees and other debris from the city's roadways Tuesday morning.
