Review: 'Prince of Persia'

"Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" is a children's story beefed up to appeal to young teens. It's based on a video game, but don't make me play it, let me guess: The push-button magic dagger is used in the game to let you rewind and try something again, right?

Review: 'Sex and the City 2'

Some of these people make my skin crawl. The characters of "Sex and the City 2" are flyweight bubbleheads living in a world that rarely requires three sentences in a row. Their defining quality is consuming things. They gobble food, fashion, houses, husbands, children, vitamins and freebies. They must plan their wardrobes on the phone, so often do they appear in different basic colors, like the plugs of a Playskool workbench.

Two Women on Wine: Wine aromas and bouquets

How many times have you sniffed a glass of wine and thought to yourself, "I know that smell...but what is it?" That statement is more common than you think. May 17, 2010, may prove to have been an ignominious date for many small nonprofit organizations. It is the first date on which the IRS may have been required to terminate the tax-exempt status of a nonprofit organization for the failure to make required filings with the IRS.

‘I can’t be dead ... I’m only 17’

"Agony claws my mind. I am a statistic. When I first got here I felt very much alone. I was overwhelmed with grief, and I expected to find sympathy. I found no sympathy. I saw only thousands of others whose bodies were as badly mangled as mine. I was given a number and placed in a category. The category was called 'Traffic Fatalities.'

Way to go, feds

So, Arizonans decided to do what the federal government failed to do - namely, secure the border and enforce federal laws - and the feds responded with a human rights mea culpa to China, denigration of a U.S. state and the repeated admission that they haven't even read the law in question.
