McKeon: No more transfers of Gitmo detainees

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Following a briefing Wednesday by senior officials from the Department of Defense and the intelligence community, U.S. Rep. Howard P. "Buck" McKeon (R-CA), the senior Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, called on the Administration to immediately cease transfers of detainees from Guantanamo Bay to countries where terrorists formerly held at the Cuban detention center have returned to terrorism.
