Castaic man arrested for shooting gun in hotel

Craig Bolock, 55, was in custody Monday after he allegedly shot a gun at a Castaic hotel, startling another guest.

COC theater auditions Saturday

Special auditions for the lead roles of College of the Canyons' 2011 "Death of a Salesman" will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Valencia campus. All actors interested in auditioning for the roles of Willy Loman and Linda Loman are asked to meet in Pico Canyon Hall, Room 101 at noon to perform a prepared monologue or read from the play. Auditions for all other roles will take place Feb. 8 and 9, 2011.

Meet the new fire chief
