Kevin Buck: The vote and the pendulum

The results of the 2010 mid-term elections are hardly a surprise to politics junkies. Every poll and talking head political observer from the right, center and left predicted a harsh voter backlash over the state of the economy and a Republican sweep into power. The irony of putting the same people who crashed the economy in the first place, back in charge, appears to be lost on the electorate.
