Crash in Newhall traps two

Emergency medical technicians treat and transport a man who drove a pickup truck that overturned on Newhall Avenue and Meadowridge Drive in Newhall early Friday afternoon. Two people were temporarily trapped in the truck after it drove up an embankment and flipped over onto Newhall Avenue on Friday, authorities said. The driver was transported by ambulance to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, but the extent of both passengers' injuries was not immediately available, authorities from the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
