Flu shots, hunger drive at SCV Senior Center

From 9-11 a.m. today, a free flu shot clinic will take place at the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center, 22900 Market St. in Newhall. Presented through the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the outreach will also include free pneumonia and pertussis (whooping cough) vaccines. Nurses will be on hand to answer all questions about the vaccinations, including reasons for getting them (or not), side effects and possible contradictions.
