California Statewide Fire Summary

Over 4,700 firefighters continue to battle six major wildfires burning across California. Yesterday two where contained and two more sparked in Modoc County. The Rim Fire burning near and in Yosemite National Park has now burned 246,350 acres (385 square miles) and is 80% contained. The Rim Fire continues to actively burn and is now the 3rd largest wildfire in California's recorded history. See the Top 20 list.
