Public art finalists, name for arts foundation chosen

The Santa Clarita Arts Commission selected three finalists for a new public art piece for the city's Aquatics Center.

The winning artist from the finalists, whose names have not been announced, will be determined at the Sept. 16 Arts Commission meeting.

Some experts say that the BP oil spill is the result of militant environmentalists and their lackeys in Congress who have forced the oil companies to drill for oil miles offshore, in water that's a mile deep.
